Bern · Neighbourhood Bike Repair
Tune-ups, e-bike diagnostics and quick fixes — done right the first time, by mechanics who actually ride these streets.
Our Story
I opened Kettenwerk in a converted courtyard garage in Länggasse because I got tired of watching neighbours push flat tyres home in the rain. What began as evenings fixing bikes for friends turned into a proper workshop — but the promise stayed the same: quick, honest work, explained in plain language, at a price that doesn't sting.
These days we see everything from vintage steel commuters to the e-bikes that carry half of Bern up the hill to Bümpliz. Whatever rolls in, it leaves running quieter, shifting cleaner, and stopping the way it should.
— Res Marti, founder & head mechanic
